In customizing a rehabilitation plan, interventions include but are not limited to medication management, cognitive skills re-training, physiotherapy, vestibular and balance therapy, speech therapy, and or a comprehensive outpatient brain injury curriculum.
The patients generally admitted to our institution are at a functionally independent level and require minimal to moderate assistance with activities of daily living. For example, these patients can maintain gainful employment or are at a functional level where they are ready to return to gainful employment or pursue other meaningful activities such as continuing their education.
